Description:Supervise Financial Assistants and maintain operational integrity of the office by ensuring that the currency and coin requirements, limitations, regulations and provisions are maintained.

To coach and mentor Financial Assistants, ensure compliance to the FCB Way, provide impeccable customer service, resolve problems, process customer transactions and cross sell the bank’s products and services.
Duties:1.Customer Service
a.Continually demonstrates a helpful, professional, friendly attitude and is committed to the “FCB Way”
b.Knows bank’s products and services thoroughly.

2.Supervisory Activities
a.Oversees all Financial Assistants, provides input to and may participate in Financial Assistants performance appraisal process.
b.Holds monthly coaching sessions with Financial Assistants staff and Financial Assistants staff meetings as needed.
c.Ensures that each staff member receives ample training of new products and procedures.
d.Schedules all Financial Assistants personnel in order to maintain proper staffing.
e.Ensures that each staff member submits work to Proof in a neat and orderly manner, and that the Financial Assistants’ daily balance is properly prepared.
f.Ensures that each staff member balances daily. Provides assistance to locate any differences according to procedure. Ensures that all differences are properly initialed and, if required, reported to the manager or Risk Management immediately.
g.Monitors and controls all “Operational Procedures” generally performed by Financial Assistants, delegating duties in a manner that will maximize efficiency.
h.Ensures that the appearance of the Financial Assistants area and personnel are neat, organized and in accordance with the FCB Way and Bank procedure.

3.Operational Activities
a.Receives and handles deposits of all types, ensuring the proper endorsement on negotiable instruments within these deposits.
b.Adheres at all times to the “check cashing” and “limitation of authority” procedures.
c.Issues Bank money orders and cashier checks.
d.Participates with manager in the allocation of incentive compensation goals and the achievement of individual incentive compensation goals.

4.Security
a.Ensures that all negotiable and confidential records in the work area are properly secured each day.
b.Oversees that dual control is maintained over daily opening and closing of money vaults and night depository vaults in accordance with procedure.
c.Conducts quarterly unannounced audits of all vault and teller cash, maintaining a written and signed record of each audit and reporting activity to Risk Management.
d.Oversees combination control, security reviews, and compliance.
e.Maintains proper amounts of coin and currency in workstation.
f.Understands role in case of robbery, whether victim is bystander, and knows post-robbery procedures.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Self development: pursues additional education to improve knowledge as it relates to the position, compliance, and the Bank in general. Acceptable sources of continuing training and education are seminars, Industry conferences, approved e-learning courses, in-house programs, or selected vendor programs.

2.Customer confidentially: never reveal or divulge customer information to anyone outside the Bank.

3.Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1.Ability to operate standard office machines, including coin sorter, coin wrapper, currency counter and teller machine.

2.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

3.Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.

4.Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly.

5.Ability to give and accept instruction and the desire to oversee and assist others.

6.Must demonstrate professionalism in dealing with customers, managers, coworkers and subordinates.

7.Position also demands a person with an outgoing and pleasant personality with an above average knowledge of fundamental arithmetic.
