| Description: | The evening computer operator will oversee the execution of tasks related to daily transaction processing on the banks computer systems, and ensure the accuracy and functionality of all systems affected during the process.

| Duties: | 1) Serve as the IT helpdesk operator/technician during the early evening hours of 5-7 p.m.
2) Manage the daily rotation of tapes across multiple computer systems.
3) Manage and execute the backups of the optical imaging system.
4) Monitor optical platter and tape inventories.
5) Verify accurate transmission of items from items processing.
6) Perform the necessary steps for the GL processing of subsidiary companies and the processing for the banks core processing system.
7) Maintain a list of ordinary telephone invoice charges and process monthly invoices, marking them for the appropriate location and watching for unordinary charges.
8) Scan IT documents as necessary into the document imaging system, for review the following morning by upper management.
9) Perform general system maintenance on some weekends as needed.
10) Cross train with the day time IT computer operator on similar tasks performed during the day shift.

| Qualifications: | 1) Work with little or no supervision.
2) Possess the ability to grow an understanding of the processes and why they are done.
3) Understand basics of banking and computer systems.
4) Ability to follow the same steps night after night and adapt when something goes wrong.
5) Ability to detect when things are not running as planned even though there are no obvious errors.
6) High school diploma required, specialized IT training or college preferred.
7) Ability to multitask and have an attention to detail.
